Sudha Janardhanam
/biography
Born in India, now living in Montreal, Canada I have been greatly influenced by the styles and fashions of the East and incorporate this in my designs. Each piece is hand-made by myself with utmost care, love and lots of passion.
I simply enjoy every aspect of my Jewelry business - photography for my web-site, participating in Gem shows and web-site building. Very time consuming but time stands still when I am working on something that I simply adore.
All of my life I have continuously educated myself in various fields via classes (Web courses - Concordia University, Private courses in web-site building, lots and lots of courses in Jewelry making and Metal work in Ottawa, Kingston & Montreal. I pursued Black & White Photography at Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts for a number of years. Even though at the time it seemed like I was learning bits and pieces of different disciplines at this point everything seems to be coming together.
Currently my passion is Enameling on Copper and Silver - Please see CLASSES - I do plan on teaching a few courses during the year as I firmly believe that we teach what we want to learn ourselves.
