Materials & Tools:   All of the materials required for the class will be provided by the instructor.  The students will choose the required designs for their projects. There is a  great variety of earring designs and findings to choose from. The tools required to create the jewelry will be available to all the students in class. Tools are available for purchase during class.

 

Course outline:   Students will learn various ways of working with Copper and the art of Fold Forming to create patterns after annealing the metal. They wil learn how to create hand-made ear-wires and polish the finished earrings. An introduction to Soldering Techniques will be given if time permits. Students will leave with two pairs of finished earrings using a pattern of their choice.
